Round Rock police investigate homicide
Round Rock Police Department is currently investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday evening.
Round Rock Police responded to a report of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to a male victim at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center at approximately 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19. Officers spoke to witnesses who said the shooting happened in the 1600-block of Gattis School Road. Officers responded to the location and found one male subject deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers also received a report of a third male subject with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center.
This is an isolated incident and there appears to be no immediate danger to the public. The investigation is ongoing and officers are working to identify the decedent.
