Leander, Cedar Park first responders take resources to Montgomery County

Leander and Cedar Park fire departments have sent resources and personnel to assist in rescue efforts in Montgomery County in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. A Leander battalion chief, a Type 1 fire engine and a swift-water rescue boat along with a rescue team were deployed Aug. 28 at the request of the state of Texas.
