Law enforcement pay raises included in Williamson County proposed FY 2016-17 budget
The Williamson County Commissioners Court met Wednesday to discuss the proposed fiscal year 2016-17 budget and added more than $791,295 to the general fund in the past two days. The proposed budget for FY 2016-17 is now more than $283.3 million, which includes an additional $400,000 for law enforcement pay raises. A proposed budget of more than $282 million was originally presented to the commissioners court at its Aug. 9 meeting.
