Pistachios recalled at H-E-B stores for possible salmonella contamination

H-E-B announced Wednesday that it has issued a recall for both bulk and packaged raw shelled pistachios sold in its stores due to the potential they could be contaminated with salmonella. The recall affects prepackaged plastic containers containing raw pistachios with either labels reading Shelled Pistachios or Central Market Shelled Pistachios as well as pistachios found in the bulk section with SunRidge Farms labels reading: Women’s Vitality Mix, Pistachio Nuts and Dark Chocolate Pistachios, according to an H-E-B news release.
