Mortar Repair: A Guide for Historic Property Owners is a maintenance resource with information on the difference between historic lime-based mortars used on load-bearing stone structures vs. contemporary cement-based mortars, and how to properly repair and clean historic mortars. Produced by Planning and Development Services Dept. staff, the guide is intended to assist those applying for the historic tax exemption to correctly repair their properties.
