New preschool coming to Cedar Park

Cadence Academy Preschool is expected to open in Cedar Park in mid-April. The preschool, which has locations throughout the U.S., will be located near Vista Ridge High School at 2101 E. Park St. and will offer preschool and after-school care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years,  Director Afshan Akbar said. The business is owned by parent company Phoenix Children’s Academy, which is based in Arizona. The estimated 12,050-square-foot campus will have an art studio, an outdoor classroom area, and computer and science labs, Akbar said. The school will also include play structures and possibly a garden.
