Garbage and recycling delayed one day during holidays
City offices, including the Library, Clay Madsen Recreation Center, Municipal Court, Baca Center and Utility Billing Office will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 24-25, for the Christmas holidays. Utility bills and court-related fines can be paid online.
Residential trash and recycling pickup will take place one day later than usual for residents. Questions can be directed to Round Rock Refuse.
Christmas Schedule
If your normal collection day is Wednesday, your holiday pickup will be Thursday, Dec. 26.
If your normal collection day is Thursday, your holiday pickup will be Friday, Dec. 27.
If your normal collection day is Friday, your holiday pickup will be Saturday, Dec. 28.
New Year’s Schedule
If your normal collection day is Wednesday, your holiday pickup will be Thursday, Jan. 2.
If your normal collection day is Thursday, your holiday pickup will be Friday, Jan. 3.
If your normal collection day is Friday, your holiday pickup will be Saturday, Jan. 4.
Christmas Tree Recycling
Need to recycle your Christmas tree? Trees can be recycled at the Round Rock Recycling Center, 310 Deepwood Drive, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The trees will be shredded into mulch which is free to Round Rock residents for pickup at the recycling center. Be sure to remove all decorations, nails, wires, ornaments, tree stands, lights, and tinsel before bringing in your tree. Learn more
