BREAKING: Kris Whitfield announces she will step down from Round Rock City Council

In final comments at Thursday’s Round Rock City Council meeting, longtime City Council member Kris Whitfield announced she would be stepping down from council, effective Oct. 6. Whitfield plans to move with her husband to their vacation home in Wyoming. “We just decided that at this stage in our life, we need to go while we can still enjoy it,” Whitfield said.
