Williamson County proposes $282 million budget for FY 2016-17
A more than $282 million proposed budget for FY 2016-17 was presented to the Williamson County Commissioners Court at its Aug. 9 meeting. The budget, which includes a recommended $172 million general fund, features capital projects and salary increases as well as a proposed more than $27 million road and bridge fund and a proposed debt services fund of more than $83 million. The presented general fund budget also includes more than $563,000 for 11 full-time and 2 part-time positions, county Budget Officer Ashlie Koenig said.
