WilCo home sales, prices increase
Home prices and the number of homes sold are on the rise throughout Williamson County. According to the October 2015 county housing market report by the Williamson County Association of Realtors, 865 houses were sold in the county in October, or a 10-percent increase from last year. During the same time period, the median price for Williamson County homes increased by 6 percent to $235,000. WCRealtors President Jack Stapleton said in a press release the association is excited to see a strong end to the fourth quarter, which was at risk of a market slowdown due to discussions about rising interest rates.
