What to know about this weekend’s Sales Tax Holiday
Back-to-school shoppers in Texas can save about 8 cents on every dollar from Aug. 5-7 on certain purchases—including clothing, backpacks and school supplies—during the annual Sales Tax Holiday weekend. Items purchased must each be priced at less than $100, according to the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts office’s website.
