Utility work will require closing of portion of Burnet Street beginning Feb. 8

The City will be upgrading wastewater lines along Lake Creek this month, and the first phase of the project will require Burnet Street to be closed from Deerfoot Street to Park Road beginning the week of Feb. 8.

The project will also interrupt traffic to Lake Creek Circle. Through traffic will be allowed and signs will be posted to mark detours.

We expect construction to last approximately 30 days.

The project will replace 24-inch and 30-inch lines with 36-inch lines along Lake Creek beginning west of Mays Street and continuing to a point just east of Lake Creek Park.
