TxDOT announces traffic changes on ramp reversal project

The Texas Department of Transportation will be making traffic changes on the IH 35 ramp reversal project on Sunday, Aug. 23.

Contractors will be milling, paving and restriping so that the existing ramps can be closed and the new ramps can be open on IH 35 between U.S. 79 and FM 3406. The work is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23.

Changes

• The new north bound ramp exit 253 will be opened and existing exit ramp will be closed.
• The new IH 35 north bound entrance ramp just south of FM 3406 will be opened and the existing entrance ramp just north of U.S. 79 will be closed.
• The new IH 35 south bound entrance ramp just north of U.S. 79 will be opened and the existing one will be closed.
