Travis County portions of Cedar Park, Leander now under a burn ban

Travis County is now under a burn ban, which will impact some western areas of Cedar Park and Leander. Travis County commissioners issued a burn ban in a special called meeting July 6. The ban includes the portions of Cedar Park and Leander city limits that fall within Travis County. The burn ban means no outdoor burning except a prescribed burn under the supervision of a prescribed burn manager.
