This is how long it will take for construction on FM 3406 to wrap up

In a Friday announcement, the Texas Department of Transportation  detailed the long-range timeline of construction at FM 3406 and I-35. TxDOT is currently in Phase 1 of the project, working to ultimately reconstruct the bridge. From now until fall, TxDOT is completing the southbound to northbound U-turn bridge and preparing for the westbound FM 3406 traffic to detour.
