As Easter weekend approaches and some have time off work and school, here are some local activities: April 14-16: Sam Bass Theatre presents ‘Speech and Debate’ The community theater presents a play about three teenagers living in Oregon who are involved in a sex scandal that has jarred town citizens. Sam Bass Theatre touts the play as a fiercely funny dark comedy with music. 8 p.m. (Fri. and Sat.), 2 p.m. (Sun.). $20 (adult admission). Sam Bass Theatre, 600 N.
