Terry Cook is first Democrat elected to WilCo Commissioners Court since 1998

Tuesday’s election night was nationwide news, but in Williamson County another election result created buzz as well. Williamson County Commissioners Court Precinct 1 candidate Terry Cook was elected as the first Democrat to serve on the court since 1998. The last Democrat to serve was Precinct 4 Commissioner Jerry Mehevec, who left office in December 1998, according to Connie Watson, public affairs manager for the county.
