St. David’s breaks ground on health care facility in Leander

Nearly one year after St. David’s HealthCare announced plans to open a freestanding emergency department and future full-service hospital in Leander, representatives from the health care system hosted the official groundbreaking of its first Leander facility Thursday. Officials with St. David’s, the city of Leander and the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitor’s Bureau celebrated the official groundbreaking on the 52-acre site on San Gabriel Parkway.
