See what’s new this year with Cedar Park’s Fourth of July events
Those planning to celebrate the Fourth of July with the city of Cedar Park on Tuesday should expect a few changes from last year’s events. “We are doing a few things differently in an effort to improve traffic exiting the celebration once fireworks conclude,” said city spokesperson Jennie Huerta. The city’s festivities start with a parade at 10 a.m., which will feature more than 140 walkers, including scout troops, youth groups, local businesses and musical performance groups. The parade will also include more than 50 vehicles including police, fire and military vehicles.
