On Thursday, June 6, Round Rock Police Department arrested a 21-year-old Round Rock man in connection with a shooting incident that left another man injured.

Kahli Tyre McQuitty was booked into the Williamson County Jail on a charge of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

RRPD received the initial 911 call at 7:41 a.m. Thursday, June 6, as a shots-fired incident at 1050 Kenney Fort Crossing. Cedar Ridge High School, located nearby, was briefly locked down but reopened at about 8:30 a.m.

Upon investigation, officers learned that shortly after one man drove into the apartment complex at that address, he was robbed at gunpoint by another man. A third man was injured in the incident and was listed in stable condition on Thursday.

The incident is under investigation.
