Round Rock City Council OKs new regulations for trash containers and fences

Home dwellers in Round Rock can no longer keep trash and recycling containers on the street indefinitely following a July 14 city council vote. The council approved new ordinances that limit the time garbage collection containers can be placed on the curb — not before 7 a.m. the day before collection and not after 7 p.m. the day after collection. Trash and recycling containers also cannot be stored closer to the street than the front building line of the house.
