Rock’N River hosts 2017 Texas State Lifeguard Competition
The City of Round Rock’s Rock’N River Water Park was chosen by the Texas Public Pool Council to host it’s 2017 Texas State Lifeguard Competition. The City’s Waterpark venue was nominated by the organization’s local TPPC chapter and voted on by Aquatic Professionals state-wide at their annual conference in February.
Teams from across Texas competed in regional competitions, with the top three teams from each regional competition earning a bid to compete at the state level. A total of 12 teams will be traveling to Round Rock for the Texas State Lifeguard Competition beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, July 31. City of Round Rock Lifeguards and Management team will be hosting and facilitating scenarios during the day’s events.
