Police search for suspect in attempted assault on Brushy Creek Trail

Just after 7:30 a.m. Sunday, May 27,, a woman was assaulted on the Brushy Creek Trail near Kenney Fort Boulevard. She was jogging when a man attacked her. She was able to fight him off and she ran to a location with others who helped her call for help.

12 p.m. Update: The suspect is described a Hispanic male in his mid 20’s to early 30’s, approximately 5’7” to 5’10”, with short black hair and soul patch facial hair. He was wearing a black baseball cap (thought to have an Under Armour logo), gray shirt (not fitted), black or navy blue gym shorts with white stripe down the side, and black basketball style shoes.

Round Rock Police is actively searching for the suspect at this time. Contact RRPD at 512-218-5500 with any information.
