Pflugerville ISD names new women’s athletic coordinator at Weiss HS

Pflugerville ISD named Julie Schier as the new women’s athletic coordinator and head volleyball coach for Weiss High School, which will open in fall 2017. Schier has served in a number of athletic positions in surrounding school districts, including varsity assistant coach and Advancement Via Individual Determination campus coordinator at Round Rock High School; head varsity volleyball coach and department chair for Academic and Career Excellence, Health and Physical Excellence in Leander ISD; and in Cedar Park High School. Schier has also coached at two Austin private schools and at several club volleyball teams.
