Parks Department to host Expedition: Find Bigfoot Event

Bigfoot has been spotted in Round Rock, Texas and we need Your Help to find him!

The Parks and Recreation Department has planned a night full of family activities for all ages to enjoy, explore and learn through fun!

Join us for Expedition: Find Bigfoot event Saturday, July 15 at Dell Diamond parking lot in Old Settlers Park from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. The event is FREE to attend with no registration required.

Bigfoot Expedition Walking Tours are just $5 per person. Register for the Walking Tours online at www.roundrockrecreation.com (see codes below). Tours will be led by Searching for Bigfoot Inc. team members and our very own Park Rangers.

The event also includes Movies in the Park featuring the Bigfoot themed family movie “Harry and the Hedersons,” Bigfoot look-alike contest (come dressed in your favorite Bigfoot costume or make one yourself), special presentation by Searching for Bigfoot Inc. team members, kids activities, Bigfoot family photos sponsored by Precision Camera and more!

The first 400 to attend will get a commemorative Bigfoot event t-shirt! T-shirts are donated by Georgetown Shirt Company.

Venture on a guided tour into our trail system on an expedition to Find Bigfoot! You’ll be led by Special Guest(s) Searching for Bigfoot researchers whose team travels across the country investigating, interviewing, surveying Bigfoot sighting locations on current and past encounters. Learn tracking techniques and evidence collection. First two expeditions will take place at twilight and recommended for younger age groups. The second two expeditions will take place at dark for older age groups (for walking safety, it is recommended to bring a flashlight).
