PARD began construction on new 1-mile trail extension

The Parks and Recreation Department has begun construction on a new 1-mile trail extension from A.W. Grimes to Georgetown Street along-side Brushy Creek. When completed, the trail will include a 10-foot wide concrete trail that connects the existing Brushy Creek Trail from Rabb Park to Freeman Park. The approximate completion date is scheduled for late fall 2019.
