New Pflugerville American Legion Post elects first officers

The new Kerlin-Lyerly American Legion Post 154 in Pflugerville installed its first elected officers July 13 at the Pflugerville Public Library. The new officers hope to continue pursuing community outreach and service projects, Commander Brian Allen said. Allen said Post 154’s service activities include assisting the Rotary Club, hosting the local Veterans’ Day ceremony, assisting with the junior ROTC program at Hendrickson High School and supporting the Boys State youth civic engagement program.Read more New officers with Pflugerville American Legion Post 154 are sworn in.
