Leander P&Z commission OKs temporary construction office, rock crushers

Leander Planning and Zoning Commission passed a special permit request and an ordinance amendment at a meeting June 22, Leander public information officer Mike Neu said. Additionally, an applicant postponed a proposal to amend zoning on a property near Ronald Reagan Boulevard and RM 2243, Leander Planning Manager Robin Griffin said. Another applicant withdrew a request to change approximately 16.859 acres near Old 2243 West and North US 183 from heavy commercial to multifamily zoning, she said. Commissioners Sid Sokol and Angela Means were absent, Neu said. All commission recommendations will go to Leander City Council for approval.
