Leander ISD to host mental health awareness event

In light of recent reports of student deaths in Leander ISD, members of the community are invited to attend an event April 17 to raise awareness about mental health advice and area resources that seek to prevent teen suicide. Supporting our Teens in Today’s Society program will start at 6:30 p.m. April 17 at Cedar Park High School Performing Arts Center, 2150 Cypress Creek Road in Cedar Park. The event is hosted by Leander ISD’s counseling services. Parents of LISD student are invited and students can also attend.
