Leander ISD names lone finalist in superintendent search
Leander ISD’s board of trustees named Dan Troxell the district’s lone finalist in its search for a new superintendent. Troxell is in his 14th year as superintendent of Kerrville ISD, which he said has about 5,100 students. LISD has more than 37,000 students, according to the district’s website. Troxell, who attended the meeting with his wife, Shelley, said he is excited to take on the new role and called LISD the “premier” district in Central Texas.
