Hutto event features top 5 goals of U.S. Congressman John Carter

The chief of staff for U.S. Rep. John Carter, R-Round Rock, had a message from Washington, D.C. and then a message for the city of Hutto: It’s time to work together. Jonas Miller, a former longtime Hutto resident, returned to update local business leaders Thursday at the Hutto Area Chamber of Commerce and Hutto Economic Development Corporation power breakfast. The monthly event, featuring different speakers, was held at the East Williamson County Higher Education Center. Miller said Carter—who represents Texas’ 31st district that includes Hutto and Round Rock—has five goals. In Miller’s words, the goals include:
