Round Rock ISD Year in Review • In November the Round Rock ISD board of trustees swore in newly elected trustees Suzi David, Place 5, and Nikki Gonzalez, Place 1. • The board of trustees unanimously adopted a $374 million budget for the 2015-16 school year—a $12.7 million increase in revenue from the prior year’s budget. Revenue increases are largely due to $9 million in additional funding from the state and an increase in tax revenue from properties in the district, according to Randy Staats, the district’s chief financial officer.
