Healthcare, energy professions among top 20 list of fastest growing jobs in Texas

Wind turbine service technicians earned the top spot on a list of fastest growing jobs in Texas, according to a new report by career website Zippia. Zippia took data from each state’s Department of Labor and the US Bureau of Labor Statistics to compile the report, identifying the occupations in Texas that are projected to have at least 1,000 workers in 2024 and ranking them based on job growth in 2017. Technical and healthcare jobs dominated the list for the Lone Star State.
