GUIDE: All of the Austin-area Fourth of July closures you should know about

The Fourth of July is a federal holiday, meaning many frequently used resources and facilities will be out of commission. Here is your guide to the closures of city, county, school district and transportation resources. Transportation Capital Metro is operating on a Saturday-service schedule July 4 with MetroRail service beginning at 4 p.m. The last train will leave the downtown station at midnight. Bus passengers will experience detours between 7-11 p.m. on routes 1, 3, 5, 7, 10, 20, 30, 801 and 803.
