Four things to know about the Leander ISD board of trustees election

Three Leander ISD trustees’ terms are coming to an end. On Nov. 8, district residents will choose representatives for Places 3, 4 and 5. Here are four things to know about the upcoming board election: 1. There are four candidates in the race for three seats, so far. Three incumbents—Vice President Pamela Waggoner, Secretary Grace Barber-Jordan and Trustee Russell Bundy—all said they will run to retain their seats on the board. Waggoner, who holds Place 3, faces challenger Chris Remy. No one has filed yet to run against Barber-Jordan or Bundy.
