Diverging diamond intersection planned for Parmer Lane, I-35

In an effort to relieve bottlenecks on Parmer Lane at I-35, the Texas Department of Transportation plans to convert the interchange to a diverging diamond intersection. DDIs temporarily shift traffic to the left side of the roadway to facilitate better left turns and through traffic.
