Cooler temperatures hitting Austin area for the next week, Sept. 6-12

From Fox 7 Weather Chief Meteorologist Scott Fisher: A rare late summer cold front has cooled temperatures down all across Central Texas. Morning lows and afternoon highs will average 6-10 degrees below normal into the weekend. Meantime, all eyes are on powerful Hurricane Irma.  At this moment, the model consensus keeps Irma on a westerly track, and then a hard turn to the north over the weekend.  It’s important to remember that computer models are only simulations.
