City accepting applications for open board and commission positions

Are you a history buff? Planning for the future of the community more your style? Maybe working to ensure local housing is safe and affordable is where your heart lies. Whatever the case, you’re in luck, because we’re looking for a few good folks to serve our community and help Round Rock move toward an even better future. 

The City is currently accepting applications for open positions on three different boards/commissions:

• Two vacancies on the Historic Preservation Commission
• Two vacancies on the Planning and Zoning Commission
• One vacancy on the Round Rock Housing Authority Board

Applicants must have been a resident of Round Rock for at least twelve months prior to submitting for an opening. For more information on requirements and to download an application, please visit the Board and Commission webpage.
