Cedar Park residents to receive update on Lone Star Drive wastewater project Monday

Members of the public in Cedar Park have a chance to receive an update Monday on the Lone Star Drive Wastewater Improvements project. According to the city of Cedar Park, the sewer line that runs along Lone Star Drive is reaching its capacity to carry sewage away from homes in the area. Cedar Park officials have set aside funds to replace the line with a larger one, and the construction project, conducted by Smith Contracting Co., is expected to cost $2.3 million.
