California Plastics company plans expansion to Pflugerville

This story was updated at 9:14 a.m. on October 14.  A California-based plastics company is expanding to Pflugerville and promises to create 100 new local jobs during the next five years, the Pflugerville Community Development Corp. announced Oct. 14. On Oct. 13, Pflugerville City Council approved a performance agreement between the PCDC and Medway Plastics Corp., which provides custom plastic injection molding. Medway is slated to open a manufacturing facility as well as a research and development laboratory in the former FedEx shipping facility off Royston Lane and is expected to take possession of the building in November, PCDC Interim Executive Director Amy Madison said.
