Ally Medical Emergency Room Round Rock makes $2,500 Donation to the People & Parks Fund

Ally Medical Emergency Room Round Rock has made a $2,500 financial donation to the nonprofit People & Parks Fund. The Round Rock People & Parks Fund in a nonprofit giving circle in partnership with the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation that is dedicated to partnering with the community to enhance people’s lives by making public parks, trails and green spaces better through advocacy and financial support. The People & Parks Fund also aids in parks and trails preservation and promotes environmental stewardship.

“Ally Medical Emergency Room Round Rock is excited to be a part of People & Parks Fund”, said Dr. Jason Hatfield, Medical Director of Ally. “We see the impact they have on the Round Rock community and wanted to support and enhance people’s lives and help support the mission.”

The People & Parks Fund fills the city’s funding and resource gap needed to develop, maintain, and enhance the area’s parks, trails and green spaces. P&PF fosters innovative public/private partnerships and has given community-initiated grants in service to the Round Rock community. 

The People and Parks Fund also raises funds by selling “memberships” to the public for just $20 per year. Memberships includes a free t-shirt, membership card, and voting rights to help select the project funded that year in The City of Round Rock. Additional t-shirts can be purchased for just $10. Residents who wish to make an online donation or learn more about the giving program can go to www.PeopleParksFund.org.  Additionally, residents can take part in the upcoming “Friday Fun Nights” at Yonders Point People & Parks BBQ Fundraiser Friday, Oct.7 from 5:30-8:30. Residents can order a Southside Market & Barbeque plate with two meats (brisket & sausage) and two sides (chips & beans) for $20 with all proceeds going to the People & Parks Fund. In addition, the event will feature FREE Lonestar beverages, fun activities and live entertainment by the Peoples Choice Band. Residents can purchase a plate online now at www.roundrocktexas.gov/fridayfun or at the event. Residents can enjoy the annual event and support a great cause.

Located on Palm Valley Blvd. (Highway 79) in the same parking lot as CVS, Rosas Café, and UFCU, this Ally Medical Emergency Room is in the heart of Round Rock and also serves residents in Pflugerville and Hutto.

Each Ally Medical ER is equipped to treat both minor and major medical emergencies for children and adults of all ages in a safe, stress-free setting. Come in or call whenever you need us.

Our goal is to minimize any waiting, but we do have comfortable seating areas for visitors. Our patient rooms are private and restful.

Our medical staff specializes in providing emergency care and trauma care, ranging from broken bones and other injuries to infections, allergy and asthma attacks, and severe stomach pain or chest pain that may indicate a serious condition. We provide on-site testing, including CT scans, x-rays, and ultrasound imaging, as well as lab tests for fast results and accurate diagnoses.
