Meteorologist Bob Rose with the Lower Colorado River Authority says local temperatures will see a dip this weekend, with highs in the upper 60s and low 70s. Take advantage of the cooler weather with these events in Cedar Park and Leander. April 21: Spring carnival at Laura W. Bush Elementary. Members of the public are invited to participate in games and activities. All proceeds go back to the school. All-play wrist band, $35 for the first one, then $30.
