5 things to know this week if you live in Cedar Park or Leander, Oct. 31-Nov. 3

Monday The city of Cedar Park hosts Halloween in the Hall, during which guests can trick or treat for free from 3-5 p.m. at City Hall, 450 Cypress Creek Road, Cedar Park. Children can play on fire trucks and police cars and collect candy. The Shenandoah Baptist fall festival is an alternative to Halloween and features carnival games, a petting zoo, bounce houses, laser tag, a cake walk, face painting, food and candy.
