2 ACC races set for runoffs; Eversmann, De Hoyos Comstock win

Final update 10:20 a.m. Nov. 9 Two Austin Community College trustees have been elected while two other races are headed for runoffs, according to unofficial results. Nicole Eversmann and Nora De Hoyos Comstock won their respective races outright. Sean Hassan and Michael J. Lewis’ Place 4 race will be decided in a runoff, as will Place 9, in which Guadalupe Sosa and Julie Ann Nitsch earned the most votes. A race must be decided in a runoff if no candidate garners a majority of votes. The two highest vote-getters advance to a runoff.
